McDonald’s announced some jaw-dropping news last week that has families in a frenzy. The fast food chain shared that the newest toy to be sold with their Happy Meals is miniature Squishmallows. Yup! As of yesterday, customers can get a tiny version of one of the hottest toys on the market with their nuggets and fries.

Kids and adults alike are obsessed with the plushies that come in different characters and sizes and are irresistibly squeezable. If you’re having flashbacks to the Beanie Babies craze back in the 90s when McDonald’s sold more than 100 million of the stuffed animals with their Happy Meals, you’re not off base.

Because even though the Squishmallows partnership was only rolled out yesterday, the characters from the Happy Meal collection are already a hot commodity and are being resold on eBay. An unopened Grimace, Hamburgler, and Fifi the Fox are already available, as well as a complete set of all 12 unique Squishmallows.

Because yes, this is a big deal. And yes, Squishmallows fans love their squishy pals that much. Plus, these are only available at McDonald’s while supplies last, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see the eBay prices skyrocket once this epic collab ends.

“We’re all about connecting our fans to culture and Squishmallows are some of the hottest toys out there right now,” said Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer in a press release. “This collaboration welcomes McDonald’s and Squishmallow fans alike to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience with the first McDonald’s Squishmallows Squad.”

While some customers (clearly) got Squishmallows on their first try, others found there are still kinks in the Happy Meal system. They tweeted McDonald’s that they were disappointed to find an entirely different toy inside. The company responded to this unhappy mom in an effort to make things right, so it seems like it’s worth reaching out if you end up getting something other than Squishmallows. Otherwise, you might want to order in the store (instead of on the app) to make sure you get a Hamburgler with your hamburger.
