Jason Kelce’s Teary-Eyed Retirement Speech for Wife Kylie Proves They’re Truly Meant to Be

Jason Kelce just announced his retirement from the National Football League, the NFL, and in his heartfelt, tear-filled speech that has captured the internet’s heart, he shouted out his wife Kylie Kelce in a way that has us swooning.

In a video obtained by the Today Show, we see Jason discussing his life in the NFL, shouting out his incredible wife Kylie. (And yes, this has become a “try not to cry challenge” because, oh, boy, this speech instantly made us teary-eyed!)

Today posted the video with the caption reading, “Jason Kelce spent a portion of the press conference reflecting on how much his family and wife have meant to him during his journey. He specifically remembered the night he met Kylie at a Philadelphia bar in 2014. ‘I think it’s no coincidence I have enjoyed my best years of my career with Kylie by my side,’ he said.”

It was like she glided through the opening An aura around her. And then she started talking, and I thought ‘man, is this what love feels like?,’” he said.

Jason added, “She was beautiful, and smart, serious yet playful. I knew it right away. I think it’s no coincidence I have enjoyed my best years of my career with Kylie by my side.”

For those who don’t know, Travis and Kylie met at a Philadelphia bar back in 2014 through a dating app. They got married four years later in 2018, and have since welcomed three daughters named Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 1.
